Kayla Samson

Miss Kayla began dancing at age 3, moving into the competitive dance world at age 6. Growing up in Durham, Ontario, she developed a passion for the arts over the years, being trained in multiple styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, acro, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. Kayla has many years of training under BATD, earning her associates certification in Jazz, and recently, her Acrobatic Arts certification. She is currently studying at Sheridan College, earning a Bachelor of Music Theatre, where she continues to work on her craft both in and out of school, most recently performing in Tweed and Co’s production of Anne of Green Gables. Kayla is very excited to be joining the Allegro teaching team this year and can’t wait to share her passion of dance and teaching with all her dancers!
