Stacey Shiori Minagawa

Stacey Shiori Minagawa joined the National Ballet of Canada in 1993 as a Corps de Ballet member and quickly rose through the ranks to First Soloist dancer in 2000. Stacey has danced many lead roles such as Princess Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Cinderella in Cinderella, Lise in La Fille Mal Gardeé, and the lead role in Madame Butterfly to name a few. Stacey has also had the opportunity to work with world renown choreographers such as James Kudelka, Lar Lubovitch, Jean Pierre Perreault, Marie Chouinard, Azure Barton, Stanton Welch and many more. Since retiring from her 21 year career as a professional dancer, Stacey has been passionately teaching as well as being a mom to 2 girls! Stacey is so excited to join the Allegro Team!
